Entity Cleanup is operated by Miles Teperman, located at 195 Longview Drive, Scarsdale, NY 10583. We provide LLC cancellation filing services for suspended California LLCs.
Information We Collect
We collect information in the following ways:
Information you provide directly. When you purchase our cancellation service through Stripe, we collect your email address, full name, business name (the LLC to be cancelled), and phone number. This is the minimum information we need to process your filing.
Information from public records. We obtain business entity information — including entity names, member and manager names, mailing addresses, and filing history — from publicly available state records, specifically the California Secretary of State (bizfileonline.sos.ca.gov). This information is part of the public record and freely accessible to anyone.
Email addresses. We may use third-party email discovery services to find publicly associated email addresses for business owners and officers listed in state records. We use this information solely to send relevant communications about your entity's status.
Website data. Our website is hosted on Netlify. Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) may be collected automatically by our hosting provider. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics tools, or advertising pixels on our site.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to process and fulfill your LLC cancellation filing with the California Franchise Tax Board and Secretary of State, communicate with you about your order (including confirmations and status updates), send initial outreach about your LLC's status and our services, respond to your questions or support requests, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your information for any other purpose. We do not build profiles, run targeted advertising, or sell your data.
How We Share Your Information
We share your information only with the following parties, and only as necessary to provide our services:
- Stripe — processes your payment. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of your payment information. We do not store credit card numbers.
- SendGrid — delivers emails on our behalf.
- Netlify — hosts our website.
- California Franchise Tax Board & Secretary of State — we submit filing information as required to process your LLC cancellation.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not share your information with data brokers or advertisers.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. Order records (name, business name, email, filing details) are retained for at least three years for accounting and legal compliance purposes. You may request deletion of your information by contacting us at the email below — we will honor your request unless we are legally required to retain it.
Email Communications & CAN-SPAM
We comply with the CAN-SPAM Act. All commercial emails we send include our physical mailing address and a clear way to opt out of future emails. If you opt out, we will remove you from our outreach list within 10 business days. Opting out of marketing emails does not affect transactional emails related to an active order.

Your Rights
You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention requirements), and opt out of marketing communications at any time.

Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. Our website uses HTTPS encryption. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
